Why I Started Hyde’s Real Sweet Cookies

I created Hyde’s Real Sweet Cookies because I was tired. Genuinely tired of being disappointed.

We live in a world where desserts have become hollow.
Cookies that look beautiful but taste like nothing.
Treats made with cheap ingredients, fillers, and shortcuts to maximise profit instead of flavour.

Some desserts today are:

  • Not sweet enough

  • Strangely bland

  • All sugar but no soul

  • Made with low-quality ingredients

  • Completely lacking depth or personality

Somewhere along the way, we lost the art of real dessert-making.

And I refused to accept that.

Bringing Back Real Food

I wanted a cookie that tasted like something.
A cookie that felt indulgent, luxurious, and satisfying.
A cookie made with real ingredients — not corporate cost-cutting.

So I started baking my own.

Not because it’s easy.
Not because the ingredients are cheap.
But because quality matters.

Even if using organic butter, organic eggs, organic spelt flour, real Swiss chocolate, and real citrus zest from organic fruits reduces my profit…
I do it anyway.

Because that’s what makes a real cookie.
